edTPA Right Start™

The Right Start™ course edTPA Simplified: Your Guide to Success helps teacher candidates develop the capacity to effectively apply what they know and can do in the classroom as they prepare their portfolio. 

Candidates will build confidence and competence in planning, instruction, and assessment decision-making through eight interactive modules: 

• Module 1: What You Need to Know About edTPA 
• Modules 2–4: Deep Dives into Tasks 1–3 
• Modules 5–6: Special Considerations for Subject-Specific Handbooks and Special Education
• Module 7: Portfolio Submission and Scoring 
• Module 8: Feedback 

This course gives candidates the opportunity to explore relevant content and guidance to prepare for their edTPA assessment. Right Start includes the following features: 

• self-paced learning modules aligned to the edTPA handbooks 
• checks for understanding throughout the course 
• key takeaways and tips for success 
• a candidate dashboard to monitor progress and areas for growth
