edTPA Overview for Mentor and Cooperating Teachers Webinar Series

In partnership with Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning and Equity (SCALE), the edTPA Support Team at Evaluation Systems will be hosting a series of webinars in fall 2020 for mentor and cooperating and teachers.

Please note all webinars are listed as Eastern Time and Pacific Time

This series is intended for mentor and cooperating teachers who are supporting teacher candidates in completing edTPA.

  1. The first session will engage participants in a 'walk-through' of edTPA to gain an understanding of the structure of the assessment and its expectations. Participants will be able to identify what candidates must submit as evidence for each of the edTPA tasks and engage in a review of the scoring process and score reports.
  2. The second session will provide a deeper examination of selected constructs assessed by edTPA and will focus on practical strategies to assist mentors in supporting teacher candidates with edTPA completion.
  3. The third session will provide a review of several supplemental resources and materials to support formative feedback and acceptable support.
